Sakha Program has signed a community partnership agreement to implement the “Al-Dalma Humanitarian City” project in the Al-Jouf Region. The initiative aims to establish a high-quality, inclusive, and integrated environment serving persons with disabilities across various categories, including individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities.
The Sakha Program was represented at the signing ceremony by Secretary-General Eng. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Hussein. The agreement was signed by Shafi bin Fahes Al-Saqri, as the donor, initiator, and owner of the project, reflecting his commitment to social responsibility and his contribution to supporting priority groups through sustainable development projects.
The agreement aims to enable the donor to implement the project through a range of facilities and incentives provided by the Sakha Program. These include allocating a suitable property for the project, coordinating with relevant authorities to obtain the required regulatory licenses, and providing the necessary technical and procedural support to ensure efficient implementation and sustainable impact, within the framework of the program’s support and adoption of pioneering development projects.
The Al-Dalma Humanitarian City project represents an integrated development model for a specialized center offering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation, educational, healthcare, and social services for persons with disabilities. It seeks to empower them to actively integrate into society, enhance their independence and quality of life, and address the needs of this group through a development framework, with future expansion plans to meet the growing needs of the region.
This agreement is part of the Sakha Program’s ongoing efforts to support the community and empower donors to establish high-impact, sustainable development projects. It also reinforces the program’s pivotal role in building effective development partnerships that enhance individual contributions to national development, embody the values of giving and social responsibility, and align with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
