Dalma Humanitarian City was founded on an unwavering belief that the human being is the focus and foundation of development, and that empowering people with disabilities and providing a supportive environment for them and their families represents a shared national and humanitarian responsibility.

The idea for this project was born from real needs we witnessed firsthand, and from a dream believed in by my late mother, Dalma — may God have mercy on her — who carried in her heart a humanitarian message built on giving, compassion, and a belief in every person’s right to a dignified life. The city bears her name in tribute to her memory, embodying the values she instilled, and a message we hope will extend its impact to generations to come.

The idea for the city came in response to these needs, and out of a desire to build an integrated system combining care, rehabilitation, education, training, and support services — contributing to greater independence, community inclusion, and an improved quality of life for beneficiaries.

The goals of Dalma Humanitarian City align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which places quality of life and the empowerment of all segments of society at the forefront of its priorities — by strengthening community participation, developing rehabilitative and developmental services, and creating opportunities that enable people with disabilities to contribute to the nation’s development journey.

We also believe this project’s impact is not limited to humanitarian dimensions alone, but extends to become a driver of economic and social development — by helping create job opportunities, stimulating investment opportunities, and building quality partnerships that strengthen the project’s sustainability and support development in the region and the Kingdom.

At Dalma Humanitarian City, we strive to offer a leading model in humanitarian and developmental work, grounded in the values of dignity, empowerment, and inclusiveness, giving every individual a fair opportunity to discover their abilities, develop their potential, and actively participate in society.
